Karisma at Cannes

Karisma Kapoor may be the next Indian actress to walk the Cannes red carpet if director Vikram Bhatt’s plans of showcasing her comeback vehicle, Dangerous Ishq, at the famed film festival come true. We hear that Vikram has entered Dangerous Ishq in the competition at the festival, to be held between May 16 and 27.
“The film has shaped up brilliantly and the makers are confident about taking it to an international platform,” a source said. “Karisma’s associates too feel that the film can compete with other international entries.”
Karisma will be joining a pantheon of B’towners like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Mallika Sherawat and Saif Ali Khan who’ve previously made an appearance at Cannes.
Vikram confirmed that Dangerous Ishq will be shown at Cannes.
